Severo Reposado Tequila 750ml
Description
Severo Reposado takes their severely intense blanco and adds just enough aging to smooth the sharpest edges while maintaining the serious character. This golden expression shows that even severe tequila can benefit from a little time to think things over in oak barrels.
The reposado aging adds sophistication to Severo’s severity. Golden in color, like brass knuckles catching light, it presents a nose where intense agave character meets barrel influence. Vanilla and butterscotch from oak aging don’t soften the severity so much as channel it, while maintaining the pepper and mineral notes that give Severo its edge. There’s also a subtle smokiness that adds to its serious demeanor. On the palate, this reposado delivers controlled intensity. The oak aging has transformed raw power into refined strength, with honey and caramel notes balancing the natural severity.
What makes Severo Reposado special is its maintenance of character through aging. Like a fighter who’s learned technique without losing power, this reposado offers both sophistication and strength. The finish is smooth but still seriously long, with vanilla and spice notes that remind you this is still Severo at heart. Perfect for those who want their reposado to have backbone, Severo Reposado proves that aging can refine severity without removing it. This is golden tequila that still means business.
