Remy Martin Tercet Cognac 700ml
Description
Rémy Martin Tercet represents an innovative collaboration between three crucial elements: Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, the House’s signature Fine Champagne terroir, and innovative finishing in rare casks. This limited edition showcases what happens when tradition embraces innovation, creating a cognac that honors the past while pointing toward the future. The name ‘Tercet’ refers to both the three-part harmony and the unique triple-cask finishing process. After traditional aging in Limousin oak, the cognac undergoes sequential finishing in three different cask types, each contributing distinct characteristics. The exact cask types remain a closely guarded secret, but their influence is unmistakable in the final product. In the glass, Tercet shows deeper color than typical Rémy Martin expressions, hinting at its unique maturation. The nose is immediately intriguing—classic Fine Champagne notes of flowers and fruit meet unexpected elements from the special casks. There’s a spiciness and depth unusual for the house style. On the palate, the triple influence creates remarkable complexity. Traditional Rémy smoothness carries new flavors—exotic spices, tropical fruits, and subtle smokiness that shouldn’t work but does beautifully. The texture remains creamy and refined while the flavors push boundaries. The finish showcases the success of the experiment, with waves of traditional and innovative flavors creating extended interest. This limited edition proves that even houses with centuries of tradition can successfully innovate.
