Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera D’asti 2022 750ml
Description
Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti 2022 is a vibrant and expressive red wine from the heart of Piedmont, Italy. The winery carefully crafts it from 100% Barbera grapes grown in select Asti vineyards. As a result, the wine captures the bright fruit and lively character that Barbera d’Asti is known for, while offering balance and depth that both new and experienced wine lovers will enjoy.
In the glass, Le Orme displays a bright ruby color with hints of violet along the rim. On the nose, it releases inviting aromas of ripe red cherries and juicy currants. Then, subtle floral notes add freshness, while gentle spice and savory hints give the bouquet complexity. These layers create a wine that is engaging and enjoyable from the first sip.
On the palate, this Barbera shows a medium body and perfect balance. Bright acidity and soft, refined tannins highlight flavors of cherry, raspberry, and wild herbs. At the same time, a touch of spice adds depth and interest. The finish feels clean, lively, and harmonious, inviting another sip and leaving a lasting impression.
Le Orme pairs perfectly with classic Italian dishes such as pasta with tomato sauce, wood-fired pizza, and roasted meats. It also complements richer fare, like grilled pork or mushroom dishes. Therefore, you can enjoy it both with meals or on its own.
Overall, Michele Chiarlo Le Orme Barbera d’Asti 2022 combines freshness, fruit, and subtle complexity. Its balance and approachability make it an excellent choice for everyday enjoyment or special occasions. Whether you share it with friends or savor it quietly at home, this wine delivers a true taste of Piedmont in every glass.
