Made from Hampden’s high-ester HLCF mark, it brings the distillery’s vivid pot still character into a rare 100% ex-Sherry cask aging style. As a result, the rum feels intense, layered, and deeply distinctive.This release ages entirely in Jamaica in 500-liter Sherry casks from Bodegas Fundador. Those casks previously held Oloroso for up to 30 years, so they add depth, color, and dry nutty richness. Meanwhile, Hampden’s natural fruit and funk keep the profile bright and energetic. Bottled at 52% ABV, it carries real power without losing balance.The aroma opens with clove, toasted walnut, blood orange, and apricot stone. Then notes of brandied cherry, almond, dates, coffee liqueur, and dried fruit begin to unfold.
