Don Abraham Extra Anejo Tequila 750ml
Description
Don Abraham Extra Añejo represents the pinnacle of the brand’s aging program, where extended time in oak creates a tequila of extraordinary complexity and refinement. This premium expression pushes the boundaries of what aged tequila can be, spending years developing flavors that can only come from patient maturation. It’s a spirit designed for contemplation and celebration in equal measure.
The deep mahogany color immediately signals the extensive aging, while the nose reveals layers upon layers of complexity. Initial aromas of dark caramel and vanilla give way to leather, dark chocolate, and espresso. As it opens, notes of dried fruit compote, particularly cherry and apricot, emerge alongside hints of tobacco, clove, and aged wood. The bouquet is almost cognac-like in its sophistication.
The palate is an exercise in balance and complexity—rich flavors of butterscotch, fig, and dark honey mingle with baking spices and toasted oak. The texture is incredibly smooth, almost oily, coating the mouth with luxurious richness. Mid-palate reveals notes of dark coffee, orange peel, and a subtle smokiness that adds depth. The finish seems to last forever, with waves of flavor continuing to evolve—caramel, spice, dried fruit, and gentle heat that warms the soul. This is tequila as art form.
