Chicken Cock Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey 750ml
Description
Chicken Cock Small Batch represents the brand’s commitment to consistent quality through careful barrel selection and blending. This expression combines the best characteristics of multiple barrels to create a bourbon that showcases the house style while offering complexity that single barrels might not achieve alone. Small batch production allows for quality control while maintaining the artisanal approach that defined the original Chicken Cock distillery. The nose presents a well-balanced bourbon profile that speaks to careful batch creation – inviting aromas of butterscotch and vanilla are complemented by notes of fresh apple, cinnamon, and toasted oak. There’s a subtle complexity that includes hints of caramel corn, light leather, and a touch of orange zest. The aromatic profile is both approachable and sophisticated. On the palate, this small batch bourbon delivers smooth, integrated flavors: initial sweetness of honey and brown sugar flows into notes of roasted nuts, gentle baking spices, dried fruit, and a perfectly balanced oak influence that provides structure without dominating. What sets this small batch apart is its consistency and versatility. The finish is medium-long and satisfying, with lingering notes of caramel, vanilla, and a pleasant spiciness that invites another sip. This is an excellent everyday bourbon that performs equally well neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails where quality matters. Chicken Cock Small Batch proves that historic brands can deliver modern excellence while maintaining reasonable pricing. For those seeking a reliable, well-crafted bourbon that honors tradition while meeting contemporary standards, this small batch expression delivers on all fronts.
