Their special cuvée, the 2005 Prima, has a very dense ruby/purple color and a big, sweet kiss of black fruits, earth and spice as well as a cedary nuance to the aromatics. This medium to full-bodied, rich wine is a real star and a sleeper of this vintage. Drink it over the next decade.- Robert Parker Jr. (06/2015)

Black currant and violet notes on the nose, with a good dose of slightly charred oak, follow through to a full body, with fine tannins and a long, vanilla-colored finish. There’s lots of oak, but also lots of fruit. Needs time. This is very chewy. Best after 2011. 6,665 cases made. — JS (03/2008)
