A blockbuster. Black in color, with extremely grapey, toasted oak and dark chocolate aromas. Full-bodied, with loads of big, velvety tannins and a long, long finish. Best Clos de L’Oratoire ever. Best after 2010. 4,000 cases made. –JS WS

Red-ruby. Aromas of red berries, sweet butter, toffee, leather, smoked meat and nutty oak. Round and sappy in the mouth, with bright, intense flavors of currant, cherry and game. Finishes firmly tannic, with a slightly medicinal inky quality.- Stephen Tanzer (5/21)
